We asked James Carpentry to design, produce and fit bespoke units for our study and alcoves. From start to finish, the service has been exceptional. The product is also outstanding. We previously used a large national company for our bedroom and they were not a patch on James Carpentry. No hesitation in recommending these guys.

Very pleased with the fitted alcove cupboards & shelves, but James & team also helped us with some unexpected, urgent work (adjustments needed to doors, skirting & plinths due to new floor level). Very skilled, tidy, polite, helpful & flexible.

This was my bedroom wardobes and integral radiator cover- the work was done so quickly and efficiently. and exactly to my brief. The team were very respectful of my home and left the place tidy every day. I am very impressed with the results and would definitely recommend them.

I took a bit of a gamble using James Carpentry, having found them by searching online - I prefer to go by personal recommendation. However, I am very pleased with their work. They quoted promptly, did the job on time, and cleaned and tidied.

Great service from start to finish - everyone we dealt with at James Carpentry was incredibly helpful, from measuring up and designing our new desk area, wardrobes and shelves to fitting and painting them! The end result looks absolutely brilliant and very smart indeed. Would highly recommend.

Really efficient and quick service. Good communication with the office in advance and flexibility with the drawings and amendments wanted. The two carpenters who build the structure were really good to work with and put it up extremely quickly. The decorator took more time and rightly so, as the finish on the product is really good. We would highly recommend them and will use them again.

Amazing set up. Could not be happier with my wardrobes. James Carpentry built beautiful solid, bespoke wardrobes for a really awkward area, and also took into consideration my complicated design requirements. From design to execution, professional and a high quality finish. I had been given a number of quotes, including Sharps, and thought for the level of work, true bespoke nature, James were very reasonably costed. Will definitely use them again for bespoke wardrobes. Will add photos once we’ve decorated the room....need to do the work justice!

Super impressed with the team from start to finish! The quote was sent within 48hrs of visiting, as agreed (which isn’t always the case with other trades/companies). The team were super friendly, polite and were quick to recognise the recent newly decorated walls in the house. The overall quality and finish exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend the team and hope to get them back in the future for further work.

James and his team just fitted two alcove cabinets for me in my living room. It was really super straight forward and the final product is great. Bearing in mind it was part of a larger project which we had lots of problems, James and his team stood out even more. His two carpenters who fitted on site were so super efficient and tidy and the same for his painter who came in after to complete the job. Really pleased - would 100% recommend James Carpentry.

I cannot recommend James & his team highly enough. Not only is the work beautiful and incredibly high quality, which is clear from their website, but dealing with them was so, so easy. They were completely accommodating throughout the whole process, easily contactable and really helpful in all aspects. I used James for wardrobes in my last house - when I sold the house the estate agents said they were the best built in wardrobes they'd seen!! Having moved James has just built a large full height bookcase for me. It wasn't straightforward as all of the walls are crooked but the team was fantastic at problem solving on the job. Would highly recommend.

I was very impressed with James and his team from first contact through to final product. He was very prompt to arrange a visit to discuss alcove options and measure up, followed up quickly with a sketch and then his team carried out the installation efficiently and with no fuss. The result is a superbly finished, bespoke set of alcove cabinets. No regrets at all. We are thrilled with the result and would have no hesitation in recommending James’ services.

Excellent service from start to finish. Replied to my email straight away and arranged a time to come and provide me with a quote. James was wonderful to work with, friendly and very helpful. They planned and emailed over the drawings before I agreed to anything and work commenced a couple of weeks later, to fit in with the school holidays. All workers we met were lovely. Very happy with our wardrobes, thank you.

I couldn't be happier with our new wardrobes - they look fantastic. James's team were very helpful and went out of their way in sorting out all our wiring so it was hidden too. The quote was much better than others I had looked at and the result was two very smart looking wardrobes. Highly recommend and I will definitely use again for any shelving / wardrobe needs.
